As is the case with our doors, our jambs are also made of solid pine core. The core is reinforced with an MDF core veneer. There is also a rubber seal on the jamb to ensure proper sound and energy insulation. A door jamb allows for the attachment of hinges on one side and the latch or lock on the other. When everything is properly installed, the door closes securely.
